The project
WireCat is an independent, personally maintained open-source project. These terms cover wirecat.dev and the WireCat tools, including WireCat Drive. WireCat is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the other services its tools connect to.
Your accounts and permissions
Connect only accounts and data you are authorized to use. You remain responsible for following the connected service’s terms, your organization’s rules and applicable law. Do not use the tools to bypass access controls, obtain unauthorized data or harm others.
Google access requires your browser consent. Selected folders control local ingestion; they do not narrow the account-wide OAuth permission. Remote writes require the relevant permission and an explicit command. Review commands, account profiles and agent permissions before allowing changes.
Your data and agents
You retain your rights to your documents and other content. Using WireCat does not grant the project ownership of that content. Local stores, exports, backups and credentials are your responsibility to protect and manage.
If you enable an external AI provider or connect an agent, review what data it receives and its terms. AI-generated summaries and memories can be inaccurate: check their sources before relying on them. Approving an agent’s access does not replace your responsibility to review consequential actions.
Third-party services
Google, AI providers, hosting services and other connected services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability, API limits, permissions and changes can affect the tools. WireCat does not promise uninterrupted access or complete source history.
Software license and limitations
Each repository’s software license governs copying, modification and redistribution; these website terms do not replace it. The tools are provided under those licenses, including their warranty and liability provisions. Keep backups and test important workflows on a small scope first.
These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. They do not promise the accuracy of imported content or AI output, uninterrupted operation or recovery of data after deletion.
Stopping use and changes
You can stop using the website or tools at any time. End each profile’s session and revoke the application in your Google Account if you want to disconnect; remove local data separately. See the Privacy Policy for the data-handling details.
We update this page when these terms change and show the date above. Software versions and connected providers can change independently. Review the current terms before enabling a new integration.
